Dr. Avigail Ferdman is the head of the Technology Ethics Lab at the Department of Humanities and Arts, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Her research integrates technology ethics, applied ethics, and political philosophy, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human flourishing. She is the recipient of the Notre-Dame Tech Ethics Lab grant, for her research on the relationship between AI and human capacities, as well as AI and the common good. She also leads the “Embedded Ethics” program at the Technion.
